For visitors, Tyler offers a variety of hotels, motels, inns, extended-stay suites, RV parks, and other accommodations situated near the major tourist, business, shopping, colleges, and medical centers of the city.
Most hotels are concentrated in the "South Broadway Avenue Corridor", near Tyler's main shopping, dining and business districts. Tyler is a regional convention center, and the location of numerous festivals such as the Tyler Azalea & Spring Flower Trail which will next be held on March 24 - April 9, 2017, and the Texas Rose Festival and Parade scheduled for October 19-22, 2017.
Tyler is close to Canton, Texas and the famous First Monday Trade Days which attracts upwards of 100,000 visitors each month.
